I was invited to to go behind-the-scenes at the Jasper Garvida AW14 show to see the Schwarzkopf Professional Young Artist Team work their magic. They created some pretty incredible waves on a host of Jasper Garvida’s models, with the help of the Schwarzkopf Pro team.

Hair was pinned in place to create ringlets and left to set, whilst the makeup artists got to work. The loose ringlets were then combed through, creating a halo of wavy hair ready to be pinned back and adorned with comb accessories and lace veils.

I felt that this almost finger-wave type technique gave the models an air of 1930s glamour and allowed the clothes to feel more theatrical as they strutted up the catwalk.
