I’m a bit of a sucker for perfume. So when Klout offered me the chance to test out the new Giorgio Armani Sì eau de parfum I was one happy (and delightfully-scented) lady.
There’s nothing like finding a new fragrance (or buying new lingerie) to lift your spirits. The whole premise of the Giorgio Armani campaign, starring critically acclaimed actress and theatre director Cate Blanchett is: What makes you say yes? What is it that truly drives you?
It’s quite a deep question for a perfume advert. But one that hits home.
These past few months have been some of the toughest that I’ve ever experienced in my entire life – I’ll tell you about it someday. But for now, I’m making the most of every opportunity to say yes to happiness.
For me, this means saying yes to opportunities that will bring me new experiences. Saying yes to things that scare the hell out of me and bring me new challenges. It’s about saying yes to what makes me feel good. And saying yes to feeling strong again.

What I’d actually rather like right now is to do be Cate Blanchett in that advert: say yes to life, spend time with my incredible friends and family and frolic in the sun.
I want to embrace lightheartedness (a word which sounds extremely sexy in Italian!), maybe a spot of seduction, and to drive a little red convertible sports car down the Italian coast, and experience the freedom that comes with learning to love again.
