Stylist @jasonlawrence83 truly looked after my Cosmo Blog Awards hair needs.

I felt utterly spoilt.

The Covent Garden salon on Floral Street has a very welcoming feel. They even have their own Baristas!

There’s a nail bar (a file & Polish is about £15) and even eyebrow threading to indulge in - should you feel the need, and plenty of smiles from the Trevor Sorbie team.

Jason asked what kind of look I was after. I explained what the dress looked like that I wanted to wear and that my hair is usually worn quite unruly, so it might be nice to look a little bit more polished for this particular occasion.

They treated it to L’Oreal Chroma colour shampoo No.4, a lovely orangey/coppery colour that would enhance my existing one, which had, as usual after 3 weeks, faded a little.

After my hair was washed, James treated my locks to some serum, mousse and heat protector. They definitely made it shine.

He curled the lengths around a brush and pinned each section in place, allowing it to cool and set, which created a nice natural-looking wave.

Once all the hair had been pinned into place, Jason unraveled each section and combed it through gently.

We spoke about the in-depth training that each of Trevor Sorbie’s stylists must go through. I know this sounds daft, but it filled me with such reassurance hearing how gruelling an experience it is, so it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever have a bad hair cut after visiting one of his Salons. Well done Trevor.

Trevor Sorbie have a really cool ‘tips and advice’ section on their website full of hair how to’s, which is definitely worth exploring and pinning if you’re planning a look for a night out or even a wedding.

A huge thank you to my stylist Jason and the Trevor Sorbie, Covent Garden salon for fitting me in for a complimentary hair session. I had a hoot and was very very happy with my hair.
