Lucie Loves... Home // The prettiest boho Christmas decorations from Anthropologie

Starting your own collection of festive trinkets is rather exciting! You spend years growing up admiring the decorations hanging on your family’s tree. But it’s only when you finally move into your own place, a couple of decades later, that you begin to put your own stamp on Christmas. It’s a right of passage, getting into the festive spirit.

I’m a romantic: I see fairy lights and I smile - no matter what time of year it is. I see Christmas trees and I immediately get taken back 15-years to when I worked at a local garden centre in Warrington. I spent many a Christmas season setting up trees in store, pricing decorations, The Pretender’s 2,000 miles a constant ear worm - I could not get it out of my head! And then going home covered in glitter from handling hundreds of fancy frosted niceties.

Last year, I walked into Anthropologie on King’s Road in Chelsea and ended up splurging massively on some very beautiful decorations for our own collection. You can see my blog post here.

I was ecstatic when they got in touch this year and asked whether I would like to review a few of their new 2014 range. It was music to my ears!

I love Anthropologie. They sum themselves up rather nicely too: “A one-of-a-kind destination for those seeking a curated mix of clothing, accessories, gifts and home décor to reflect their personal style and fuel their lives’ passion.”

You can pick of choose pieces to create decadent interiors, host fabulous dinner parties or even dress a Christmas tree. I can often be found swooning over cushions, bed linen, scented candles and pretty crockery. I’m an Anthro-geek!

We haven’t been out to get our tree yet, so for now I’m hanging the latest additions to our christmas crown jewels onto the edges of picture frames to decorate our fireplace. All that’s missing is the roaring fire! I’ve added a couple of pics from last Christmas so that you can get a feel for my eclectic taste in decorations and ogle our very fancy tree!

I hope all your Christmas shopping and holiday preparations are going well! I’ve still got so much to do!!

*This post was brought to you in collaboration with Anthropologie. Thank you A-team for letting me show off these four lovely trinkets.*
