Lucie Loves… The @Alpro_UK challenge // My Day 5 | #AlproAM Smoothie
I call this one the 40/60. It’s almost half fruit and half veg and contains all of your five-a-day.
What you’ll need…
6 x brocolli florets
2 x bananas
6 x celery
1 x apple
2 x carrots
1 x tbsp natural yoghurt
1 x glug of Alpro original soya milk
1 x lemon (if desired)
The celery in this one makes it quite strong tasting, so feel free to swap for something else if celery isn’t something that you’re keen on.
Tip: Juicing the fruit and veg (raw) that you would not normally eat, is probably a good way to get the best nutritional value out of them - if they wouldn’t make an appearance on your dinner plate.
Apparently, celery contains vitamin C! You learn something new everyday.
Feel free to add a squeeze of lemon to this one to perk it up a bit!
