Lucie Loves... Lifestyle // My photos from the #PetalDrop, London event, sponsored by Boots Pharmaceuticals
Tonight I danced in the street with strangers. We laughed, twirled and rolled around in and amongst a swirl of colourful petals, that rained down from the sky.
The #PetalDrop happened to symbolise pollen count levels being at their peak. This time of night is when hayfever sufferers can be affected by insneezia, which Boots Pharmaceuticals tell me is caused by pollen falling as the sun goes down and the air begins to cool. .
It turned into quite the impromptu street party!
The street team continued to fill the sky with colour, and handed out leaflets and free samples of Boots Pharmaceuticals Allergy Barrier Nasal Spray to smiling passers-by.
If you missed out on the spectacle, you can watch again on the @BootsUK Periscope channel for upto 24-hours after the event:
For more background on the campaign, and to read some of the tried and tested solutions that my friends and family put forward for tackling their pesky hayfever symptoms, check out this post.
